what should i build????
i was thinking about building something like this...(2 dr jeep green 6sp jk rubicon, lod bumpers, power station, 35in tires, and short arm donahoe racing 4in lift)


but now i am seriously thinking about building one of these...(fx4 ranger 5 sp w/ torsen diff, 33in mud terrains, camburg lift, fox shocks w/ res, plus an eaton blower)



any ideas or comments? for the base vehicles it would be 30k for the jeep and just over 20k for the ford out the door.

Just my opinion, do you desert race, If no buy the rubi, if yes build the ranger. Even if you do desert race the rubi can get to places the ranger could never get to. If you want to get there fast then build the ranger, if you definatly want to get there than buy the rubi.

i am looking for a trail rig which is a blast to drive at all times. it will be a daily driver so it will not be the extreme truck in the pics. 80% + will on road driving, i am in az now but that may change soon.
i am not interested in mud bogging, or rock crawling just something to take on the trails and have fun with. i do enjoy a bit of spirited driving both on and off road thats why i am looking at both vehicles.

DUDE!! I was by a couple of those the other week! I would've got a pic, but I had to all of a sudden leave really quick-like, so I didn't get in trouble....
Buy the rubi and make it a desert racer, that would look awesome.... Just be sure to ditch the minivan engine, and put in a hemi... That is what some people are doing....
