I see that you have also made your own net. I must say, (coming from a guy that work in boat canvas) Your work is impressive. I made a front net for my JK, and it's pretty similar. However i did not have the time to continue the net and cover the whole JK yet with college semesters.

Thanks!! I've actually made some boat tarps for people. Textiles is actually a part of my job in the military as well. Now when I make stuff like boat tarps and stuff for people I make it on my Industrial Sewing machine at home. I made this for my Jeep at work after hours. My job in the military has me doing everything from Welding to Machining, Autobody, Textiles. Gee's sometimes it feels if they can't figure out who's suppose to fix something it comes to me or someone in my trade.

Well I finally got a chance to Finally Fab something for my JK. (Well the wifes JK LOL ) I'm in the process of making a Cargo net!! I got to say it looks awesome!!! I'm going to say first off if I never had my own shop with an industrial sewing machine I wouldn't even attempt making it. OMG what a nightmare. I can see why they are so expensive. It's not the material in them it's the time. I was at it Saturday for 4 hrs and on Sunday for another 5 hrs. Now I realize that the first one always takes alot longer to make because of the trial and error. But my God theres alot of sewing. I still don't have the side nets done yet. I'm hoping to have it finished tomorrow. (I know i'm going to get the This Thread Is Useless Without Pics). But they are coming. I took a bunch in the begining with one way I was going to mount it to the jeep but ended up going in a different direction. Well Thats it for now. Bring on the This Thread Is Useless Without Pics. LOLOL
