Default 2011 Mojave Expedition

I have had a few Jeeps and Land Rovers. I love the Expedition look. This is my 2011 Mojave edition. I have a gobi rack with Hella black magics, ARB awning, 35s with MTRs and Method Racing wheels. CB, TF tire carrier, TF 2.5BB and ARB camp chairs and Warn 10k synthetic winch. ACE stubby front bumper. The grill was done using Line-X premium (non fade) bedliner. I have a hi-lift extreme jack and gobi hi lift mounts on order. I will be ordering my arb fridge next month. Just wanted to share some pics.

Yep. BTW, learned about the Mojave Trail because of that edition, and drove it this past March. Wonderful experience.

Here's mine. The main mods I've made to convert it from rock crawler to overlander are:

1. Moved the CB antenna from the back to the front. To me this is the main difference, because everyone knows rock crawlers have the antenna on the back and overlanders have it on the front.

2. Moved the hi-lift from the back to the hood to free up cargo space.

3. Started telling people that I'm getting away from crawling and concentrating more on overland travel.

This is one of the better looking Jeeps I've seen. Kudos to you, sir!

Would you mind telling us what the overall height of the Jeep is with the Gobi? I'd love to do something similar with my rig, but I'm concerned with clearing my garage.

Thanks in advance!!

Just back from a great expedition to Mount Batu Lawi a twin limestone rock feature in Sarawak on the island of Borneo, great scenery, fab people, terrific organisation, loved every minute of it

Great Rig! Beautiful scenery! Looked like lots of fun! The only problem is that your steering wheel is on the wrong side!!!
