I bought a Currie Air Down tool and Smittybilt Air Compressor, then tried it out earlier today at Wishon Reservoir (Central California) at 7700'. Aired down to 15 psi, it looked like I could have air down more. How low do you go in the snow? I wasn't sure how far I could go without losing a bead.

FWIW:
With my BFG Rubi take offs I used to air down to 8 then 12 and finally 20f / 12r to keep my beads on hard texas dirt. As long as you have air and a can of engine starter- experimentation is key.

Funny story to tell relevant to this. Last year was ordering some Maxtrax's and specified black. So, the stateside dealer calls me up and asks, "Why black? Most folks prefer orange so they can see them when they get buried in the mud." My response: "Have you seen our mud?" They were out of black and I had to wait an extra week for them (which was the real reason he called--just to get my okay).

Well the Jeep is just about done. I still need my ARB Cooler and Evo Tailgate table but I thought I would share. The Jeep is a 2011 Majove Edition. I took ll of the decals and crap off and went with a cleaner look. It has a TF 2.5BB with Method Wheels and 35x12.50 MTR/Ks. I have an ACE front bumper and Or-Fab rear bumper. TF Tire carrier and quadratec antenna mount. Gobi Ranger Rack with ARB awning and Extreme Hi-Lift jack. Line-x front grill with a Warn 10kS. I built the Jeep to look like a JKU Jurassic Park Edition had they used this platform.
