When national parks have them, they are usually coin-operated.
It was a long time ago, but yes, at a KOA somewhere on 395 outside of Mammoth Lakes, CA there were coin operated showers. Exactly though, you can probably arrange a deal for a hot shower w/o much issue. Either way, you make the point as I was trying to, there can be hot showers to be found if you're looking for them.

Check the rest of the details... It resembles a yacht interior - compact and comfy.

Can you live out of this one any less than out of a Jeep? No way...

Would I even consider replacing my Jeep with this, or anything else? NO way.
Nice Truck. But I still have to say, all Trucks are less capable off road than a jeep unless it has tons of money put into it. Plain and simple, there not meant to be off road vehicles. Much longer wheelbase, too wide even for most trails here in Colorado, and they are all going to be a PITA for gas Milage.

I traded in my first 2 door jk for a Dbl Cab Tacoma TRD. With a rear locker it did well off road. Storage space was nice. But even with it being a smaller compact truck, It lacked in being as capable as my jeep. It was simply too wide. Turning radius was horrible, truck bed was too light and even locked the tries just spun. Traded that in for my new 2012 JKUSport and let me tell you, world of a difference. I couldn't be happier.

Is that rotopax mount something you modified to work? Or is it made for that location? Just haven't seen that before and was wanting it for my Gobi rack. Good looking Jeep.

It is a rotpax mount and 4 gallon can. I am getting ready to mount another one on the other side. Their universal mount works great with the Gobi.

I am assuming that you have no problems with it leaking? Also, when you load down the rack are you securing the load to the expanded metal of the rack with tie downs?

The rotopax can be upside down and driven down the bumpiest road you have ever been on and they wont leak. The rack has really only held my kayak and me. I use my M416 to carry extra load. The rack is very well made and have not had any issues.

It's OK, Dlampe, no offense taken. I assumed that you just didn't happen to see a pickup that's well modded for long offroad trips. I didn't mean to sound combative either, just to point to some facts.
Both of us share the 'Jeep thing' - for very good reasons - so we're on the same side.

I talked about smaller pickups which aren't wide, have shorter wheelbase and small turning diameter, like the Mitsubishi Triton or similar pickups.
On tight, narrow corners, where my son turns easily through with his Mitsubishi pickup, I have to reverse at least once to make the turn with my JKU.

But, that's off the Jeep thread...

Nice and very practical rig.
I wish I could find something like this trailer, but made of Aluminium, in my country.
