I have the 50 qt it fits in the back no problems with room for dog.

Here's mine, sorry for the driveway shot. I want to add a gobi rack but I have the gen 2 AEV snorkel. I was thinking of having a fab shop cut the front legs off and replace them with something like what a light bar uses to attach, like the flat metal that runs along the windshield frame. Any idea if this would work? I don't see why not, thats how it works for the frontrunner rack.

I have the same snorkel as you, and have also been looking at the Gobi racks. I have contacted a few people who run this setup, and they say that there is zero modification required. I believe Alpha Expeditions had a JK set up like this, you might try calling them. Hope this helps.

Hey Mark- great shots of your well sorted Jeep. I'm Frankie, met you on the trail a couple weeks ago in AZ.

Looking online, both gobi and aev say it won't work with the gen 2. The redesigned contours of the snorkel get in the way of the support bar for the rack. One guy used washers as a spacer but it left a really ugly gap.
