Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Just built an expedition canvas side awning. Works as well as any I've seen and cost under $150 all in!

I decided to go the solar route for powering my fridge and other things. So far I have finished the battery box and the wiring.....AND IT EVEN WORKS

Thanks. I have an 80W panel. However, from what I've heard the charge controler I've got (PWM) doesn't get the full wattage out of that panel.
For the best performance you'd need an MPPT charger.
Don't ask me about the differences....it's all mystery and magic to me
I'll test my set-up the last weekend of June at the trucker and countryfestival here in Switzerland.

Added Aries removable mud flaps so I don't sling rocks on my popup when towing it. They don't fit on just like the instructions state of course. With a stock bumper they have to be dropped down and only use one bolt, but I can drill into the frame if need be but that one bolt seems to keep it really secure.
On to a question: since I read every post in this thread, and didn't see it asked...what is your opinion about aluminum bumpers? It will be a while before I will be able to afford dropping $1200-1500 for a front bumper, but that hasn't stopped me from window-shopping. ;-) One that has caught my eye is the Genright Offroad full width front winch bumper (I'd post a link, but I'm not sure if I'd get my hand slapped for that). Apparently they are super light compared to a steel bumper. Anyone run an aluminum bumper and/or have any thoughts?
