Hi

I do love 4x4 and overlanding and expedition and I read alot and looks at many video clips for inspiration. I do love the look on the Landrover Defender 110 and the payload and big cargoroom. I have my heart for the Defender but went for the Wrangler unlimited. The reason for that is that the Defender cost more, only have manual stick, only have diesel, cramped driving position, little booth room for rear passengers, no electric rear windows, no airbags, only 2 cupholders, no 12v rear outlet for fridge etc, rear passengers sits so high that the have problem to look out. Rear cargo floor is narrow at 90cm so it will be difficult to sleep 2 people there, the Wrangler is 110cm back there. Anyway it looks so cool.

So anyway, I got a lot of inpiration and tips from other expedition vehicles and theres setups and gears.

Here are some Youtube sites I follow and get some of my inspiration from and tips.

Very nice Mark! Question, do you know where I can get that small three-sided, rectangular grill I saw in the first video? I like that better than my Front Runner Off-Road, spare tire mounted grill.

I don't know, but I've sent the question to the owner of it.

It is a Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill. Another option that I use at times are two of the metal oil drain pans. They can be difficult to find anymore, but Ace Hardware still carries them (most auto stores have gone to plastic). Use one for the charcoal or wood, and turn the other upside-down and use as the base for the one with the fire. Can be used for Dutch oven cooking, as well as a wood campfire at places where they don't allow ground fires. Carry a grate to use for steaks, burgers, etc.

You could use those pans for a lot of things, catching rain water for drinking or doing dishes in. The list goes on for anything.
