It was some european guys, they crossed russia from west to east, facing lots of problems with jeeps because of overweight... Nevertheless comparing to other cars jeeps are strong and they finally did it. Next time they said to have some trucks or Unimog....

Ah, I bet. I'm a little surprised they went with a Jeep (not that I mind), just figured it'd be a European model with those German flags they have flying. Anyway, again, pretty cool. I plan to look them up to read a bit on it. Thanks for the extra info!

I had my Rubi Rails welded and added a few bungs to make rubi-rails that also double as air tanks... They work great, I plumbed them to the compressor under the hood. I also made it so that they are easy to disconnect, since my wife always wants me to take the rails off and put on the steps if we are on the trail...

Germans.

They wanted to go from Paris to New York via the Bering sea.
Unfortunattly they didnīt make it.
