Not so much a hole as a trail--we did almost 30 miles on it once we exited the highway until we looped back to the beginning of the off-road part--and there was a lot longer to go up river where we turned around. Here's a Google Earth image of the route plot ...

I love this thread too. Here is a pic from this weekend. This was a family camping trip, but I feel like I am getting closer to the actual expedition capabilities.

My youngest son just graduated from Oklahoma University and will be pursuing his PhD at Rice Quantum Institute. So, that means I'll be down that way on occasion--please do let us know what local areas you find for exploration.
