My first jeep is on the train and should be at the dealer by this weekend. :-)
I want to install a hoist for the hardtop. My plan is to mount a HF electric hoist in the rafters above the garage door, I have about 34" above the door. The problem I am having is by the time I mount the hoist and account for the hook etc, I think it will be too close to the garage door. Does anyone know if I can mount the hoist to pull horizontal then through a block to make the vertical lift. This would allow me to have the roof as close to the ceiling as possible.
