First Jeep, first drive, first wave
I picked up my first Jeep from the dealer on Saturday. Wouldn't you know it is a busy weekend in between travel, so I didn't get to take it for a real drive until Sunday 
So I loaded up the car seats and took my first drive with the kids (not 0.9 miles from the dealer). I absolutely love it, and the girls do too! I did notice 3 small drips hanging on the ceiling right where most freedom tops leak, so I have to take a closer look at later on.
So I have been anxious to try "the wave", and when I am driving in my car I see tons of Jeeps. Yesterday, I don't see any. Finally, towards the end I see a TJ coming my way while driving through town. I initiate the wave, and got one in return. Glad to see that it works.

Unfortunately, not all will return waves, but don't give up. Just keep on waving, especially at the soccer mom's driving new JKs--they know not what they do (or not do), but they'll figure it out eventually.

Great looking JK, and congratz on your first Wave! I have been waving since I got mine, and am probably about 7 waves out of like 45-50 waves (Not normal). But around here it's all the college folk with the "cool jeep". And soccer moms who have no clue.
Maybe we can write to jeep, and add one line to the congratulatory letter ytou get whne you buy a Jeep. Add at the end "...Thank you for buying a Jeep. Don't forget to wave." Or even work it into the commercial some how when driving around have 2 pass each other and wave.
People would catch on....

I used to get waves all the time. Since my lift and new tires I am 0-11! The drivers of older jeeps are the worst right now. WTF?! Anyway, I'll keep waving. I am used to rejection now.
