anyone have one of these? thoughts?
Yes Sir. I bought both bumpers and the sliders from them. Awesome product, fits perfect. I asked them to powdercoat them to match my paint color, and wow it came out close... No issues at all, easy to install.

i have seen this bumper up close and in person and while it may look pretty good in photos, i found the welds looked like tooth paste and in some areas, lacked good penetration and the craftsmanship/finishing on it was marginal at best. specifically, the lines where the plates came together were wavey and there were pinholes everywhere. while the design of their bumpers look a lot like hanson bumpers, i personally would have a hard time paying a grand or more for quality like this, or, should i say, lack thereof. but hey, that's just me.

LOL!! yes, jeeperman did make great bumpers back when the original owner was still making them. after they got bought out in late 2006, the quality of them went downhill big time. in fact, the front bumper the new owners came out with for SEMA 2006 was so bad that the company who was going to put it on display decided to pull it out at the last minute. and, the 2nd stubby bumper they came out with was so bad that just about everyone who saw it ridiculed it. do i even need to mention that this company went out of business soon after the new owners took over it?

for whatever it's worth, i completely believe that the same person who made the latter jeeperman bumpers now makes these new bumpers as the quality of them - or lack thereof, looks to be exactly the same - sub par. but hey, that's just me.

I'm glad this website is your business, otherwise my thinking of you would be far worse than what it is. I hope I can get some other great products from vendors that you have swagged. I've heard all the stories, but wait, you ban them before they can tell there side. Theres three stories to every event. You just choose to post one. I wish you luck in the future.

Good luck, Eddie. See ya.

LOL!! yes, i'm sure there are three stories to every event and clearly, you have chosen to hear all the ones you've been wanting to hear. as for me, i have never really met you or talked to you outside of this forum so honestly, i can't possibly imagine what "stories" i might have been able to tell you. but, i suppose it doesn't really matter as i can see you're not really interested in hearing anything that i might have to say anyways and hey, that's fine by me.

BTW, here are some close up shots that i took that shows exactly the kind of quality you can expect from a redrock fab bumper. as i mentioned before, the finish work is lousy with pinholes everywhere and edges that are wavey. also, i find it curious how this side of the fairlead looks.....

in comparison to this side.....

it's almost as if they cut the steel too short on this side and then tried to fill it in or something.

also, taking a look at the welds on this d-ring mount, you can see how they are actually decent and penetrate into the steel....

however, this is the exact same d-ring mount but on the other side....

here, the weld looks like they are sitting on top of the steel and do not penetrate at all. but hey, who needs a strong d-ring mount that you can depend on anyways?

now here's another close up shot of the bumper - more pinholes....

of course, here is a shot of welds on the tire carrier. while these look to be strong, they are in my opinion far from being something i would expect to find on a bumper that costs over a grand. but hey, that's just me....

good luck to you as well.

NOTE: apparently, the photos in question were in fact Leave Town's JK and because they were taken at a shop, i decided to remove them to spare the shop from him whining at them and from any future stupidness.

Wow, I know very little about welding and I can say that bumper looks horrible.
Is this the bumper that Red Rock Fab had to show-off their stuff ? I would personaly have put a total masterpiece on display...not this thing.
