Front BUMPER comparison
Is that new? I've never seen that LOD. It would have been a strong contender when I bought my ARB as it defiantly matches the look of my Expo 1 rear better.
thats a great question. I don't know. They don't have weight in the specs.

Also, how big of a project is replacing a stock bumper with the one pictured above to undertake? I am as newbie as newbie gets (including tools and "know how.")
Also, is there a good winch comparison thread like this one? I am going to purchase one with this bumper decision. Thanks in advance.

also, wave, you will need some sort of lift for a bumper and winch.. your bump stops will hit continuously if you dont lift it
Font bumpers are pretty easy to throw on but can be time consuming. You'll need 2 people really to do the job as lifting the bumper into position is not a one man job.
Crash is right that it's usually held on by 8 bolts, 4 each side of the chassis rails unless the manufacturer has some special arrangements. I love that LOD and wish it was available when I got my ARB.
It's hard to tell from the pictures but there doesn't appear to be any light mounting brackets which might be a problem if you want lights on the bumper. Also it looks like there's some sort of skid plate covering up the approach, not sure if that comes with the bumper or not but it does give it a finished look.
I agree with Racer that you're going to want a lift kit. At the very least you may need some leveling spacers, esp if you add a winch. That's 200lbs extra weight.

Really? I wasn't planning on lifting as I like the height okay and I am not a crazy off roader; I do like it, just have not had the opportunity to do anything real aggressive. The winch is actually to pull a pump up and down a riverbank for a duck hunting lease.
Okay...That changes my plans a bit.
