Can you use an aluminum (non-roller) fairlead with a non synthetic line?

Default Need more full width in here...

Bumping this one instead of opening a new thread. I was thinking of an ARB for my front bumper, but after more interwebz searching, found some that may be more "unique". After rolling thru 30 of the 57 pages, I've only seen the AEV, ARB, and LoD in full size. Does anyone have an OR Fab, Off Camber, Rock Hard, or Rampage or CBI in the full?

Thanks in advance.

I have the ARB, excellent quality, but I consider replacing it because I want a stinger.

I've just thoroughly examined the full width Smittybilt XRC stinger today, inside & out, on display and on a Jeep.
It seems to be very well made, nice welds, good finish.
This is one of the few with reinforced stinger. Its modularity allows removing the sides and having a stubby. Good approach angle and an integral & reinforced rock slider underneath.
It looks different, aggressive, and I think it's one of the best looking front bumpers -- but that's my personal taste.

I like this bumper, I can hide two winches, main winch and a tie down winch and not block the radiator.
