Default Got my 35's ... a lot of rubber.

Well I finally pulled the trigger and went with the 35" Cooper STT's. I also got my wheel spacers and spare tire extender from Northridge the same day. I am going to try and get them mounted by the weekend. I will post some pics soon...

I had 35" stt's on my last Jeep, I loved them. Awesome tires. Quiet, ride nice, wear great, good on rocks, mud, and pretty good in snow!

Congrats, can't wait to see pics

I am hoping to replace my 33" STT's for 35" STT's. if the money tree sprouts some $$$ this spring. Also, my current STT's are taking forever to wearout 67K km's and still have 40% tread left!! You will be very pleased with these tires. Only downfall I see with the STT's is they take a lot of damn weight to balance compared to Toyo M/T's!!!

get the 35" tire of your gate as soon as you can. After a year my hinges are so wallowed out my gate wont close correctly.

Thumbs up

x2 Yeah, throw that tire in the back.. anywhere but the tailgate, I know it will take up valuable cargo room but too many people have suffered the consequences.
It's valuable information what people have said about putting 35's on the tailgate.
Well... look at it on the bright side, your load distribution with the spare in the cargo area will be better for trails.. Instead of hanging off the back end. I know a lot of Jeepers who leave their spares @ camp, they literally unhook them or unload them from the cargo area. Now that's only if the trails are close to camp.
Now if you don't have newer tires on, I wouldn't chance it, more importantly because of slowing down the group as well.

It will ruin your hinges on the gate. My stock 32's did, I can't imagine how fast a 35 would do it.
