Got my 35's ... a lot of rubber.
I don't agree that the 35 on the stock rim will cause your tailgate (or hinges) to spontaneously combust.
I have the Teraflex spare tire extension bracket and the Daystar bumpstops that the original poster showed in his picture and have had the spare on the back for over a year both on and off-road. No rattles.
The key is to get it tight. Don't cut down the Daystar bumpstops (ignore the instructions that come with them) and wedge them in between the tailgate and the spare tire as tight as you can.
Given that, no rattles. Double-check this when you get your tires rotated and before you hit the trial.
Good luck.

Also, what kinda weight was needed on the wheels for balancing. I am curious as to how much truth there is to what is needed for the Coopers.
Let me know how the spacer & daystar extension work for you. I am thinking of the same set up in a month or so. I know there are some horor stories on the tailgate, but i'm thinking of taking my chances.

Ok..there is a decent amount of weights on the rims but they ride great. As far as the spare tire goes... the Teraflex extension is not gonna work for me. I tried it out with the Daystar extensions and it sits too far off the gate to rest tight enough on the isolators ( barely touches ). Today I tried a 1.5" wheel spacer ( took it off my buddies wheel ) and the spare fit great on mine with it. I have the stock Moab 17" rim with a 35x12.50 17 tire and it sit in the grove of the bumper snug. I will have to use the Daystars with the wheel spacer to even fit more secure since the stock doesn't touch with this set up.
what cha think

Looks great. I've alway been a bfg fan but those coopers look great. I'm getting ready to throw some 35's on my 07 sahara unlimited. I might just have to go with the coops. Anyone know off hand the $$$ diff.
