Ditto that...

I have half doors and Trektop for summer and full door and Freedom top for winter.

Mine are the Rugged Ridge half doors and uppers and they aren't nearly as easy to open as I suspect the OE halfies are, but I absolutely LOVE the half doors. They are not really any louder than the soft top and full doors and when the uppers are off the visibility is awesome.

It is a bit of a pain to carry the uppers but I keep my two doors rear seat folded down flat and lay the uppers on the folded seat. Not a big deal.

I don't know how the OE uppers open but the RR uppers are really versatile with buttons to secure the unzipped window in a few configurations.

That said, I would trade my full doors for OE half doors in a second and use them all year.. snow and all.

Anyone have pics of an unlimited with rear half doors and no front doors? I'd love rear half doors and am contemplating ordering the rugged ridge rears and getting them colour matched (deep water blue).

At first I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about them. I bought the Jeep used with Half doors. I am happy now that I have them. When the uppers are on I think it breaks up the solid color and looks pretty good. I have more configuration options. I can leave the lowers on when I am carting my daughter around and have a 50% better chance of keeping her toys and gear in the Jeep Anyway here are a few shots.

That's a nice looking Jeep! Love the green with half doors. The only other half door I see in town is that color and it looks awesome.

What tire brand & size (and/or spacers/lift) are you running?

BTW - I had my doors off more than on since I've owned my 2012...they are so damn easy to take off, why not! I picked up the ACE hangers to store the doors, check 'em out.

Not sure what your weather is like but for me the half doors are really half-year doors mainly because of the colder winter months. Truth told, I could live with the soft uppers all year, and the lowers basically no different than having full doors. But the uppers tend to leak when it rains and though that isn't really an issue when it's warm (carpet and drain plugs are out) a layer of ice on the floor in winter isn't acceptable.

I have the Rugged Ridge half doors with their soft uppers. I love them. The OE half doors are far more robust than any of the aftermarket doors (RR, Bestop, Strike Force Zebra) but I can't see springing the cost for OE half doors. Maybe if someone had a set and wanted to trade OE's for my full AND RR half doors, I would do it.
