Default Hardtop top surface painted white

Here are some pics of my hardtop after being painted with Bus Kote, a paint for reducing heat from the sun on RV, school bus roofs etc. I did my 05 Unlimited with a white material I had left over from painting the metal around the roof of my old building. The Bus Kote was easier to apply and reduced the heat inside.

Checking the website for this, which product number was used for this?
Thanks.

I used Bondit, #1220 and Bus Kote, #2150 from Hy-Tech. The primer is very watery like. Seems to stick well so far but I don't plan on running the JK thru the Jeep Wash.

The Bus Kote was put on in 3 thin coats with a brush for 2 and roller for 1 coat. I may add another coat to make it look a little smoother. it can be sprayed which would have made it look better close up. I notice the white roofs now on all the school buses.

Sorry about the pics, they worked first time. Must be doing something wrong in Manage Attachments so they may disappear again. If so I will add them to my Picturetrail acct.

I have plenty of Bondit and some Bus Kote if someone in Baltimore area wants to buy some cheap. Send PM.

You've successfully turned your JK into an FJ!!! I'm sure there is a huge difference in temps.
To reduce heat in my JKs I installed speaker carpet from Walmart on the ceiling of my freedom tops. Works great in the summer when it doesnt get below 110 for weeks at a time!

Thanks for the info.
I like the way it turned out.
Iv considered changing the whole top to white from the black on mine, or at least the roof part only.

I will take a pic when it is parked on the street. Never had to have a reflective top when I lived in Lac-Saint-Jean region. Lots of sun but that only helped melt the ice!
