anyway its been hovering around 45 here. thats softtop weather if you ask me. my damn huge hardtop disagrees

Man, I ain't heard from you in awhile, pimp! How's things going? I concur, 45 degrees is soft top weather to the T! I grew up in the Antelope Valley, so "cold" strikes me as anything BELOW the freezing point of water...the scientific definition, doncha' know!

Anyways, we'll see how long I keep this thing off...it was a royal pain in the a$$ to remove...so I'm gonna milk the topless feeling for all it's worth! Ha ha ha ha ha.

Well, up in the Antelope Valley where my folks, live, yeah...I guess I was referring to LA County, not L.A. proper.

P.S. - Yeah, both my bumpers are Body Armor...pretty sturdy stuff, just not the prettiest thing to look at.

Fish Diggity! I ain't heard from YOU in awhile either! Thanks for the compliment, pimp! Yeah, I didn't have to work today...which is ALWAYS a good thing...although it was still a productive day: vacuuming the crib, doing some dishes, and the whole Jeep beautification...come to think of it, I probably would have been LESS tired if I had worked today!

Not to high jack but how do you like those bumpers I don't really mind look but I need a tire carrier and I was lookin at the one you have. Does it have a spot for a highlift mount?

LC:

Yep, the Body Armor rear bumper has provisions for mounting a CB antenna, a high lift jack, AND two jerry cans. The only downside is, with the jerry cans and/or Hi Lift jack mounted, you have to space your spare tire out a little too far. When I did this, I got an undue amount of flex on the rear bumper whenever I hit a bump (and you could really feel it at highway speeds). It might be a different on an Unlimited, but it was sufficiently annoying enough for me to move my spare tire in as far as it would go, and then just not use the jerry can OR Hi Lift mounts. That's the only downside to this bumper...other than that, rock solid.

Indeed, "the Grind" does indeed suck baaaaaaaaaaaaaaalls, to quote the illustrious Eric Cartman.

I feel you...I personally don't mind getting wet, but it's the $1500 in sound system I don't want getting soaked!
