I got a V8
I picked her up Thursday! Well she met me at the airport, but Wow! I drove it 700 miles to Huntsville, Wow! Have you ever been in your Jeep and looked at the speedo only to realize you were doing 85?! 2200 RPM's doing 75! Cruise control. Ever notice how your cruise control would be just a general speed range? Say 55 to 70? Well not anymore. I put it on 75 and it stayed at 75. Down hills, up hills, just stayed at 75 like a normal cruise control!
I have the Rock Hard skid plates and the engine and transmission skid had to be modified. But they came out good. The muffler, I don't think it's going to last too long. I hangs about as low as the gas tank skid. Only problem is my gas tank skid is kind of really scratched up. I love the sound. I guess I'll try to get it tucked up a little bit more or just let it get bashed in.
The seats. I did not have a major problem with the old ones, but I do like the new ones better. My wife loves the new ones though and they were for her. 700 Miles and the small of my back did not hurt. I would not have driven 700 miles before the swap.
The Atlas' Rear shifter is kind of forward a little too much, so it's a little hard you grasp the shifter. I'm thinking I could find some aircraft throttles and use those. We'll see.
I have not taken her off road yet, so I can't say much about anything else. And we are going to Barbados next week so it will be a while till I can see how well she behaves off road. But when we get back she'll be visiting Attica.
I've ordered the Aeroforce Interceptor so when we get back I'll be installing them and the front axle shafts. I also need to finish my air-box and snorkel. That's why you may have noticed the battery's in a new location.

Now I need to start saving again to finish my list!
More pics can be found in my sig.

As great as the Hemi is in the wrangler its just hard to believe you cant get it from the factory like that. I like how when you have the cruise set the tranny does not ever kick down at all unless your going up a hell of a grade. What snorkel are you going with? I'm waiting for AEV to get theirs finalized,
