I "herculined" my grill, fenders, mirrors
Just did an awesome and yet once again cheap mod...Went to the auto store and picked up a quart of herculiner for 30 bucks, went home and painted..I think it looks great, and actually "functions" decently. I painted it in 35 degree weather so I was a little worried, but then took it offroad, and washed it and it is still holding fine..I also did my mirrors and relocation hole..
Off the subject, I also installed rear springs from a 4 dr Sierra package into my 2dr and it DID, YES, IT DID give me a little over an inch lift in the rear.
Here are some photos:

I was thinking of doing the same thing with my fenders..
Did you remove the fenders before they sprayed them, and did they also mask off the area that mounts against the body? I just want to make sure it gets done right when I do it. Thanks

I then just taped off the fenders to where it hits the body and took a small brush and painted the small gap in between. I then took a larger brush and painted the rest of the fenders and bumpers....real easy. I never removed the fenders...too much of a job for me!!! LOL!!! I let it dry and then applied a second coat. I still had some left over so I then thought, why not do the inserts in the grill and the mirrors, and then the light guards. The light guards are a little tricky, but if you get some on the actual grill ahve a wet cloth next to you and it will come off without a problem! Have fun!!
Warning...wear gloves!!! After almost a week I still have some left on my hands....It does not come off!!!! WEAR GLOVES!!!!!
I still have to due the rear bumper, which I will do today if it warms up a little bit. I had my just had my "super duper" (Anchorman anyone!!!
) flowmaster 40 installed, so I had to wait!! I was then thinking of doing the inner wheel wells also, then the interior, maybe the underbody....oh boy, what I have I started now!
