You can change bout all the settings you would desire to and it's a great diagnostic tool....much more than a basic scanner. You have access to a lot of live, real-time data as well which helps with troubleshooting things and they seem to always be working on new functionality. If all you used it for was diagnostics and programming chipped keys it would be worth the money.

Was that a brand new SC unit or purchased from someone used? Just curious. I've only used a FlashCal one time in a pinch for something. Seemed like a pretty straightforward interface, though all these units that have to have downloaded updates are a real pain. I've used a BullyDog tuner for bout 8 years and have always hated it. I use Jscan for some things, primarily diagnostics these days, and I reach for that over my Blue Driver ($100) all the time for the jeep....though the Blue Driver is good for all my other vehicles.

Turns out it wasn't anything to do with superchip. The original dealer put an anti theft system on the vehicle which shorted out causing the vehicle not to start. Had them remove it and we're set. However, I don't think I'll be plugging the super chip back into it ever again.

Blacked out the grill. Used the black bed liner spray. Looks good, and is very durable to rock chips and bugs. I think it could use one more coat.

I plan on having the top off this thing majority of the time this summer so I went out and purchased a smitty bilt tonneau cover so that if in fact I do have something in the back it'll be hidden from view and when the doors are off I have a place to throw things and not strap them down. The cons are that I only have about 16 inches height under the cover so when/if I need the rear for anything bigger I'll have to remove it.

I've been on a lookout for the OEM Hardrock Steel bumper for quite some time. I like the simplicity to it and the fact that I know it'll be a quick bolt on and when I do end up adding the winch it will set below the grill. I ended up adding LED Head light bulbs and fog light bulbs which are 1000x better than the OEM bulbs.

Went out to Bridgeport to put it to use. I definitely should have taken off the nerf bars but luckily they didn't cause me any issues. I'm on the lookout for some JKU OEM rock slider to replace the nerf bars.

Side Note: JLU OEM rock sliders do not fit a JKU.....

Things have been quite the past few months... have been debating the Rubicon Hard Rock Bumper. Adding the winch to that bumper plus the bull bar are not budget friendly.

One day I walked into 4WP to kill some time and I saw that they were selling their display bumpers. There's a Fab Fours bumper combo sitting there marked down to $800 for the front and $500 for the back... I thought that seems like a great deal but I don't have $1300 to throw at a set of bumpers. A few weeks later I walked in to pick up something and those bumpers are still there and the guy told me $500 for both. I laughed thought there was something wrong with them. I looked them up online and read the reviews and couldn't stop thinking about the front bumper. I called the next week and asked if they still had them, and told them I would take the front for $250 but only the front bumper... thought I'd offer them $50-100 for the rear bumper when I picked up the front. About 15 minutes later I got a call.... "the big guy said you can have the rear for FREE!" SCORE!!! Fab Fours bumper combo for $250. Yes, these were displays but still in pretty great shape but miss matching lights on the front bumper and was missing hardware for the rear.

To finish the front I had to purchase the passenger side fog light and signal light to match the drivers side.

The rear bumper was missing a couple of mounting brackets... I called Fab Fours and told them what all I had, turns out I was missing two bracket. A week later I had the two brackets and a hardware set from them for around a hundred bucks.

Then 4WP had a sale that was worth something and I picked up the Smittybilt 10k winch for $500.

That's definition of Jeep Build on a Budget!!!

Had the notorious oil cooler leak around thanksgiving... and it was bad... pool of oil on the floor real quick. Took it to the shop cause I didn't have the time. WOOF!!! That hurt my wallet, but at least I knew it was done right because it was at the top of my comfort level.

A few weeks after the oil cooler was fixed the wife and I were out cruising around and when I had to put it in 4WD I heard the knocking and clanking from the front drive shaft... Took me a while to recover from the oil cooler cost but bought a new Adams front drive shaft after Christmas and installed it today. Took me about three hours but it wasn't to bad... just a couple of stubborn bolts. Overall, I feel good about buying a great quality product and Adams seem to be some great people.

Isn't your Jeep lifted? If so you should think about caster correction of some sort. I used Metalcloak lower control arms. Works perfect and pushes the diff out forward a little.
