Jeep Green Metallic Post your PICS
Well...it's still in Michigan at the AEV facility right now. It is going through heat cycle testing and final inspections. It will probably be another week before I get it back. They installed and are testing Dynatrac's big brake kit on my JK...so this is the first time they've installed this kit on a JK conversion in their shop. I hope it really makes a difference in braking power since I'll be pulling a trailer too. I'll post more pics when I get the Jeep back. I've driven the 5.7 conversion in a newer JK with 4.56 gears...but I chose 4.88's for my build, so I'm sure it will feel different off the line. I'm sure I'll still grin when the light turns green

LOL...I know...I've been there too!! lol Well, my plan was to eventually do this conversion way back in 2008...but just not in '08! I said I would drive it and get service out of it as a family hauler until the tires wore out, and then I would lift it and convert it to the 5.7 and commission it to trail/camping duties. It took me almost 8 years to wear the tires out at the rate I drove it!! lol So...30K miles later, new tires cost me a wad! But, now I have a new Jeep...again!
I figured I would buy a new one in 8 years anyway, so why not keep the shell, and up-fit it to be a "new" Hemi JK. If I get good service out of the next 8 years, I'll be happy!

That's real nice man. How high is the top of the step now? I am looking at the same lift with 35s and I want to make sure it's not too high for my family. Would you mind letting me know.
