Jeep Parking Only
I haven't see a thread on this before, so here goes.
Our JKU was only a few weeks old and I had the duty of taking the kiddies to Soccer photos. The community centre lot is packed with mini vans, and pretty SUVs....not one spot to be had. This is like free candy to a kid, the community centre backs on to a creek and open field. Sooooo. Simply drive through the creek/mud to the other side into the field, proud new Jeep owner, can't wipe the smile of my face.
We go in have the photos done. Walking back to our parking spot, what's parked on either side of us? You guessed it, 4 other Jeeps, nothing else. 1 of the 4 was a beautfull restored 1985 CJ7. I spent 30min talking to the owner, comparing Jeeps. Total stranger, made new friend. Gota' love the Jeep thing.
(sorry no pics...newbe at the time)

It's a beautiful thing. What I love too, is that if your talking to a non-Jeep person, they are always like, "I always wanted one" or something like "That would've been awesome when I was younger" Then you catch them shedding a tear in envy.
I like having the option of going where no car can! Full parking lots are a great excuse to show off our Jeep. My wife loves when she has to make a parking place or a road at the soccer field.
My favorite is when your at a light and the girl in the (insert lame car here) is just staring at your jeep like she is considering getting out and asking for a ride, and when the light turns green she goes back to talking to her boyfriend/husband.

I had a '97 wrangler all white, I was sitting at a light with top down, doors off, and this dude pulls up in a BMW Z3 and his girl looks over and I can hear her saying and I quote "Now that's sexy, you should have gotten one of those instead of this thing!" I nearly died when I saw the look on his face (He was the poster child for Metrosexual). That made my week, she was smokin hot to boot.

Pulling up to a light topless and doorless, tunes cranked....dude pulls up beside me I swear just left the Nissan lot in a brand new black Rouge, AC on looking all tense. His girlfriend leans forward looks at me in my Jeep and mouths the words "I love your Jeep"

Needless to say buddy got a whole lot more tense after that.

It was a Master Card comerical...Priceless

It's crazy how folks disrespect the JK. I wave at all Jeepers, admire all Jeeps, am happy for all Jeep owners, (whether they are true enthusiasts or not)
I too have seen the "Take me with you" look from people. I love getting that look.
I really enjoy talking with guys that know far more than I about this great way of life.
Now post your pics Sir.
