I love those tires...what are they? I can handle that combo because the tires make it look tough. By the way...what's the difference between JK doing this and other guys getting the Skyjacker 6 inch lift with the Nittos and not ever taking it offroad? Absolutely nothing! :toung:

Well here is the deal,

The rims actually came off another friends of mines jeep that had low profile tires on them . Good god they really didn't look good then, I mean they were cool but not on a jeep with low profile tires. I bought them from him for $700 dollars and then bought the Super Swamper Trxus MT tires at cost as well. So i probably have only about $1900 in the whole combo. I do take the jeep offroad and that combo works great in mud or just wheelin. I live in southern Alabama so there really isn't any rock climbing around here. Since the rims were used they had a few minor blemishes on them like some pits in the chrome on the inside, etc. So I am not really worried about scratching them, even though I do not believe that would happen in the type terrain I go offroad on. I wanted an aggressive tire with a big wheel. I may not be as hardcore as some other folks on here, but no worries. I do like the other rigs as well. If all i did was go offroad or lived somewhere where there was more of it then I would have probably gone with a different combo. I do go to the beach and lake alot and this combo definitely sets the jeep apart from others, especially since it is a 2007 model. I also ran this combo on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which I will post up some pics here in a couple of days. I love my jeep and have plans to do a few more upgrades. I don't know how hardcore I will get though. I think if ever ran up on an embankment and messed up the side of the jeep or flipped it I would have a heartattack or something. To do that type of wheelin I would definitely get something a lil cheaper. Since there is much options where I live no sense in building something I would never use its full potential of. Thank you to everybody for there comments. Have a great weekend.

I like it Dropzone JK, I am not a fan of chrome, but overall it looks nice. There are plenty of Wranglers where I live that spend 100% of their life on the pavement. Nice choice of tires also.

I like the tires as most do on this forum, but the wheels are far too big. It makes your jeep look like a caricature. But whatever works for you man. It is your jeep after all.

The tires make the jeep look proportional.
The wheels make it look like a toy, like matchbox toy car

Yeah, I think they really look sharp..but they are just too big. really have the matchbox effect.

In all seriousness though, I know a lot of people who would love that setup...but me personally, I'd never do it. Truthfully there's a lot of guys who'd want those rims for their 'lac or whatever lowrider they run and wouldn't have a problem stealing them from you. Those are the kind of rims that put jeeps on blocks if you know what I mean.

I have a hard enough time thinking about putting an aftermarket radio in my JK with all the theft considerations...those rims are like putting a decal on the hood that says STEAL ME.
