Jeep Wrangler JK with Lift, 35" Tires on 22" Wheels
Your Jeep, your money, and I don't mind them. Looking like a Matchbox wouldn't be bad to me.
However, not matching the spare is a big no-no where I'm from. That would get more hell than the big rims.

I believe the 22's are a bit much...maybe 20's (if that's what you're into) might look better. From the front shot it doesn't look bad. From the side it reminds me of those greeting cards that have the cats/dogs with the huge eyes bugging out on them. The 2dr is just too short to pull off such huge rims. On the Unlimited it might not look as bad.
I like the chrome with the redrock.
Albeit the 22's are not my thing, but to each there own. I dont happen to like 15" black steelies for my own ride either, but i havent flamed anyone for having those. It is just my personal tastes, and you are just as certainly allowed yours.
Is the ride stiff? i would think it would be with what appears to be minimal sidewall to flex.

Well here is the deal,
The rims actually came off another friends of mines jeep that had low profile tires on them . Good god they really didn't look good then, I mean they were cool but not on a jeep with low profile tires. I bought them from him for $700 dollars and then bought the Super Swamper Trxus MT tires at cost as well. So i probably have only about $1900 in the whole combo. I do take the jeep offroad and that combo works great in mud or just wheelin. I live in southern Alabama so there really isn't any rock climbing around here. Since the rims were used they had a few minor blemishes on them like some pits in the chrome on the inside, etc. So I am not really worried about scratching them, even though I do not believe that would happen in the type terrain I go offroad on. I wanted an aggressive tire with a big wheel. I may not be as hardcore as some other folks on here, but no worries. I do like the other rigs as well. If all i did was go offroad or lived somewhere where there was more of it then I would have probably gone with a different combo. I do go to the beach and lake alot and this combo definitely sets the jeep apart from others, especially since it is a 2007 model. I also ran this combo on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara which I will post up some pics here in a couple of days. I love my jeep and have plans to do a few more upgrades. I don't know how hardcore I will get though. I think if ever ran up on an embankment and messed up the side of the jeep or flipped it I would have a heartattack or something. To do that type of wheelin I would definitely get something a lil cheaper. Since there is much options where I live no sense in building something I would never use its full potential of. Thank you to everybody for there comments. Have a great weekend.

And if I'm ever in 'Bama, I expect y'all to show me the good mud spots!
So, how does it ride? I don't know what lift you have, but the 35s look like maybe they rub a bit???
Dezz, to be honest, I haven't seen anyone bash him (like I would've expected). I've seen many that say they don't like it, but that's it, no bashing. And while not my cup of tea, more power to you drop zone if that's what you like. I'm sure there's plenty out there that don't like my set up. Guess what, I could care less. Build it like you want, and drive it like you want...................... as long as it's offroad.
To that point, not much bashing but in previous threads about the subject it's been bashed to death. I've seen comments ranging from 'it looks stupid' to '20s+ aren't functional'. How do you know (not you personally, just you in general) what functionality another person needs. It makes me happy to see someone think outside the box on occasion.

... well, not much.
