Great pics! We just returned from our first ever visit to Canada and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there. Canada is a beautiful country. Not sure I want to be there in winter though...

Here are some new photos. Not really happy with how they turned out (Sky is very washed out), but otherwise they look nice I took most of these while at Leavitt Lake. Which is a natural lake at the very high altitude of 9300 feet.

And here is the lake itself:

Gorgeous scenery. If you're into serious photography and want to deal with digital's huge disadvantage over film--one stop loss of dynamic range--you might read this article I wrote on graduated density filters ...

Yeah, I am in the market for a set of ND filters, and a polarized filter. Doesn't to using a polarized filter for me is my current lens (Stock Canon 18-55 IS) if the end of the lens rotates while focusing. Although not as big of an issue when shooting scenery as typically focus is at infinity or near it. Graduated filters would have the same effect, I would need to manually rotate them.

But I do plan on buying a nicer lens one day

But thanks for the article, I shall read it

These should be Jeep Ads.
