Yes.. I explored the sand dunes many times during my two days of camping on the beach. It seems that I had the entire beach to myself

There are quite a few hotels/motels in the area. There are two campgrounds, one is right on the beach however there is no running water in the facilities and the second site has hookups for the RVs. There are a lots of vacation home rentals however almost all were full during the Labor Day holiday.

Here is how I spent my two days
