Yes there is. Jeep Fanatics and Desert Wranglers are two that I know of. 702 war machines are a hardcore crawling group.
I haven't got too crazy with it yet, 3 months old, still in the honeymoon phase.

 

Really weird question, my best friend is living in Vegas now, he flew out for the Jeep Jamboree in Maine (which is where I live) but he's building his own business so he can't buy a Jeep right now, any chance he could jump in sometime in a spare seat sometime?

One of these days I'm going to suck it up and make the drive out there with my Jeep!

a couple of guys in my local club are talking about a trip to Moab, I figured the gas and at 16.5 mpg it's like 22 gas stops each way!

actually I'm more concerned about having the soft top on and some loser breaking in at a night stop at some random motel along the way...I pack a good chunk of tools self rescue/recovery related stuff, not to mention the case full of go pro's

is there a lot of cool places within a day trip from Vegas? Nothing too hard core, I love wheeling but I'm not the sort who looks for nearly impossible piles of rocks and laughs when crushing a body panel!!

I share those concerns. Couple hints: Cheap motels (Motel 6, etc) offer the chance to park your Jeep right outside your door--just ask for first floor when you make reservation. Avoid more expensive hotels where the hallways are indoors and your Jeep is way off somewhere. Even better yet: KOAs. Tent or Kamping Kabins. You're parked right next to your Jeep, and the clientele are a lot less surly than cheap motels often have.

 

Good jeep? They're all the same.. just different colors and top on/off. I could tint the windows, lower the suspension and put some different wheels on it if that's what you're in to. But unfortunately that's the only Jeep I know of... there's a badassed topless Bronco?

 

There's a lifted jeep with a cage and large tires in the game. Merryweather uses them. (Video game stuff, gta 5)
