I understand now, I must have skipped over the part where you were comparing them to typical aftermarket links. Thank you for the clarification, that makes a lot of sense now. But, I'm still having a hard time understanding how, if you're still running the short factory links and sway bar, how you can get more articulation vs. being disconnected?

Do whatever you want. I don't care.
I'm sorry but did I ask if you cared what I did or not? In all honesty, I was kind of hoping you could explain why getting new links was better than reusing the rear factory links just as you did with the front links being better than aftermarket poly ones.

You seem bitter and not sure if you had a bad expereince with the guys there.
If it makes you feel better to think of me as being bitter, that's your prerogative. But, I actually had a great experience with Rancho and really enjoyed talking to one of their top engineers William Johnson.

I am not trying to pimp their kits. I do not need help or do I know ryan. I was just trying to make a simple post.
Fair enough. It's just that you do have a lot of posts on Rancho specific threads and in a positive light. And, although you have admitted to being a good friend with someone who works at Rancho, it was only after I had inquired about your affiliation with them. Of course, this is to say nothing about the fact that you've admitted to having been in or are maybe still involved in the industry and have been unwilling to state with what company that might be. Need I say, based on these facts, I had assumed you were in league with Ryan who I thought was clearly pimping Rancho for his own reasons. If I was mistaken, I apologize.

My thoughts on the kit are that its a good cheap kit if you want bigger tires. It drive well, no bumpsteer, and the springs felt like the right combination.
Again, that's a fair enough statement.

Sorry if I offended you
You offended me?? That's a good one

Well I will say I just left rancho's website and they are promoting two kits a long arm kit and a sport system. Of course there sema desplay vehicle is a rubicon and they do note one thing about there kit on there ipod video promoting the kit "that the exhaust has to be refabb'd as in all lift kits" I didnt know that all lift kits require you to re fabricate the exhaust?
But I must say there sema vehicle is sweet looking but I'd hate to get something that pretty dirty.

Yes, the shocks are different, but I was referring to parts that would impact an aftermarket suspension system. As you said, the stock shocks are going away. The idea was put forth that the Rubicon was soooo different that exisiting suspension systems wouldn't work on it.

I read on here that a lot of people were having problems with their jks wondering all over the road with the relocation brackets on, but once they took them off they drove just fine. From what ive read on here the relocation brackets are unnessecary and more of a pain in the rear. I dont have first hand experience though, just relaying some first hand experience...

A relocation bracket is just a budget solution. If you can afford it, getting a new adjustable track bar is always the better option assuming that it's a good one.

thanks WOL, that was why I leaned to the lift I did. I hope to get my tires this week so I can put it on.
