i should have taken a picture but the next time i throw the kayak on i will take one and put it up. but i just use rope. i would tie the front first on the bar right by the wind sheild and wrape it all the way around the kayak and tie it on the other side the same way. doesnt have to be super tight, then i would go to the back and push the kayak forward and wrap the rope around it the same as the front. gets pretty tight. the trick is the have the front rope wanting to push the kayak back and the rear one wanting to push it forward, that way they dont losen up.

I use the Kargo Master Congo Cage - it holds 500 pounds of geer - great for my kayaks. you can remove hard/soft tops without taking it off and its sturdy as all get out
I didn't see a kayak?

I just use a couple of Kayak foam blocks I picked up from erewhon. They work great with my 14'6" tandem kayak.

If you have a hard top nrs.org has a gneric rack call quick and easy. It hooks to the raon gurrets on the hard top. Just latch on. Takes about a minute. I think they go fir like $60
