Keeping it clean... well sort of
I understand where you're comin' from....but try road salt/sand AND the 7 miles of gravel road I have to go down every time I leave the house....3.5 each way. Don't get me wrong, I love black too, and have owned a few of them. It's just hard to keep one looking decent when you live out in the country in Alaska......
It's why I bought the silver Tacoma in the firstplace. I just didn't find it hid the dirt as much as I thought it would. So if I was going to still look dirty I went back to my one true love... black.
I like silver very much. Have owned two silver trucks, and I think the contrast between it and the black jeep bumpers/etc looks great... but I had to honor my true love.
BLACK

I hear you. I live on top of a hill in NH. Same here snow/sand/gravel/etc.

yeah i know what your talking about. some of those old renegades from the 70's early 80's had a tan paint with dark tan and brown decals. a buddy of mine had a light blue with darker blues for the decals. they should have a throw back edition, i would rather see that than an islander. maybe put some white wagon wheels on it also with the red and blue stripes. sweet action.
