I have not seen it done with LineX. I have seen the Duplicolor used on the interior though. LineX, in my opinion would be too heavy to use on the top. Adding needless weight that high in any vehicle is asking for problems let alone an SUV that already is somewhat top heavy(as they all are).
Why and what is your purpose in using it up there?

@ LVdoug do have any close up pics of the linex on the outside of the freedom top.
I'm not really getting a good feel on how it looks from those pics.
Thanks man

Forget line-x if you want to do the inside....go with Duplicolor in a can. It's less expensive and looks almost as good. Here's mine....

Hey JPTwinz,
Have you noticed an increase (or decrease ) in temperature inside the Jeep since coating or is it still unbearably hot to begin with ??
Looks great!!

i did not notice a temp change, but i'm in las vegas. when it gets over 100, it's hot inside. i've had white, black, and silver cars, it doesn't matter, it's just hot when you first get in.

if you have the time and money go with line-x (or whatever company). i like the outside, but i love the inside! i did it in light gray (matched it to the headrest) it looks like it come from the factory! i have two young kids and they trash the inside of my jeep. so far it's holding up great.
just my 2 cents
p.s. nice cage JPTwinz!
