Default Locking / Securing my Hi-Lift jack.......

I just bought a 48 in high lift Jack. How have you secured it? The holes in the Jack seem very small and Im sure it will disappear if I dont lock it somehow. If you have a way to secure it a pick woulf be great. By the way ill include a few pictures to show my set up....Thank You Frank....

Mine is mounted in my garage, so no pics to help but.. What if you fed some of that aircraft wire through a few of the holes, and then around your tire carrier, and secured it with a lock and key?

I made my own out of steel cable and crimps and put a master lock on it. You can use a small bike lock as well. Make your own at any hardware store.

1st thing loose the thumb screws and use regular bolt/nut

if you are still worried about it walking away you can padlock it to the tire carrier with a cable lock

I welded a trailer hitch pin lock to the rear tire carrier so that the pin prjects through one of the holes in the high lift jack. Works great with no rattle.
