Yes and yes. Low caster is what makes the steering flighty or loose. The brackets fix that first and foremost.
Smoother because the control arms are set flatter to the ground. Bumps are absorbed through the coil/shock rather than the frame.

Awesome. Ive been debating on adding them to my setup, do they hinder ground clearance as bad as people claim?

Low cost
Try this, Trail master 3". I paid 249 at 4 WD.com. I had to add rearsway bar links,and also added Rubicon express control arm brackets. But I'm am totally thrilled it drive great I have 35" tires on stock rims with spacers. I'll post pics later but I got 4 " of lift.

Theyre fantastic, i wouldn't buy anything else, great ride with bilstien shocks, probably the most comfortable lift ive found so far.
