Now that's the best one yet! I could have used that easy button to get over that slippery rock on my last wheel'n trip!

p.s. my custom sliders should be in the making starting this weekend yours look really good, would like to see more pics if you have them, and see how you mounted yours, I am just gonna weld mine to the frame, 3 points per side.

Yeah mud i'll get those pics up as soon as possible( fri evening)
welding to the frame problem being if they get crunched real good your stuck. find a hole to bolt them to that way they are easily removed. + steer clear of heat on the frame if u can avoid it. Mine are now painted and bolted up..I made 1 off brackets to the frame. they run high to keep from catching rocks and hangin me up..

did you use self tapping screws? or did you find spots that you could put a nut and bolt on? I don't like the self tapping screws idea b/c I've heard of people ripping them out. and you are right about them getting crunched and having to cut them off, that would suck, but you could just weld more to the same brackets. I'd love to see how you mounted yours, then I can make a final decision on how I want to mount mine.

What size do they need AA or AAA. They put some new speed bumps in the parking lot, hope I can get over them.

I did get gutsy enough to take the plastic off of my parking brake handle though. I just make sure I have clean hands before I get in.

and i wondered how long it would take before i got busted on the plastic.
But hey i'm 35 y/o and this was my first time driving off the lot. so i'm reluctant to remove the last plastic. lol but i did weld under her alleady. Thats gotta be worth something.. Oh and i lost a rear fender from ice and i got a windshield chip..so i think i;ll leave the plastic on for a few more weeks....hhehehe
And jeez i was kiddin bout the Mall thing. but let me know how the speed bumps turn out.:toung:

No problem, I am a big boy, I can take it. I have a few bragging rights of my own. I drilled the little holes in my mirrors!

By the way, the lift and 35's is mainly so I can more easily vacuum the carpet under the Jeep. I might have to do some sliders like yours to prevent my vacuum from hitting the paint.

That has got to beat the plastic on the handle!
