I just noticed you had a rubi, duh, rubimon, rubi.. i get it now....

anyway, I also just noticed that you mounted to the pinch weld at the bottom of the body... do you think that would be strong enough? I know most of the aftermarket ones mount there, but I am leaning way more towards welding to the frame then the bolting to the body, just curious to what you think about it. can you stand on them and the body not bend any? remember our JK's have really flimsy metal on them, i'd be sorta scared that it would get all bent up if you really land down hard on your slider.

you selling the stock rubi rails? i'm sure you can find some buyers here...

Those are the stock rubi sliders. I will change them to something like the Pure Jeep. I might wait until a few others come out. I am working on completing my lift for now (adj arms and track bars, etc)

I read a thread saying it wasn't good to mount the sliders to the frame. If you land hard on something or get in an accident you could possible twist your frame with all that leverage. Don't know how valid that is, but in reading all the posts back and forth they made a good arguement. That was on a TJ forum not this one.

Hey Rubimon, I think you have exactly the same carpet in your garage that I do!

It's the only way to go, at least in arid climates. No snow and not much rain.
