I've done some research on the schedule 40 pipe and i like the idea of using it because i can bend it with my bender with ease. However; aren't there some strength issues with pipe; isn't tube a better choice for the fenders? and what thickness material did you use as the armor?

Actually, from personal experience, pipe is a better material (although it is heavier) for fenders but always use tube on roll cages.

Good ol' Mexico. Used to live in Brownsville, Texas. Have family in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Miss Mexico and all the good deals to get down there. If I was still in Brownsville, I'd drive to SLP for those!

they are being painted right now, I was away for a few days, so I put things on hold for that time, it took about 5 days to make the front ones as we had to do a lot of measuring to get them to fit right,(they would wait for me to come by to approve things and shape) plus the guys had other work and I agree from the beginning to let them do other things from time to time, the rear ones only took two days, I knew I had to be patient for this project so I'm taking my time plus i really see how long it takes for some companies to deliver a bumper or how much some guys wait for stuff they have already paid for I say even a month is not that bad

actually I might be wrong on this one, I threw in the word pipe, as in spanish there is no difference between the word pipe or tube, I will check exactly the term of the materials used and translation not to make confussion, I don't usually speak metal , the materials we used are tipically used on fenders made for 18 wheelers at the shop so they seem plenty strong
