My New Jeep 8 days after ownership
I've only had my JK Sahara for 8 days and I have done some mods to it........
Destickered and tinted windows:
Grill Mod:
Custom Intake made w/ a Mustang MAC tube and K&N filter from Summit Racing:
Trail Rated Badge Relocation:
By this time next week my wheels will be powdercoated and my Magnaflow exhaust will be installed.
Needless to say, I am giddy as hell.

Take a look inside the grill - people have been using expanded aluminum (painted black) as an insert. Looks cool and protects the radiator. This is a much cheaper alternative to the commercial products you can buy now. There's a write-up for this mod on the forum.

it started out as expanded aluminum but i think most have been using plastic..gutter guard or a sheet of plastic from mcmaster
Go to www.mcmaster.com
Part # 9314T33
I got 3 ft
the plastic is like $3 like $7 with shipping..
i did it black first then painted duplicolor pewter to match my graystone..... youll see all versions on the write up....the plastic i think is cheaper easier and safer to use...no rusting....take a look...its one of teh easiest mods out there..almost as easy as the sunvisor mod (peeling the stickers off)
