need aftermarket from bumper pics
I was all ready to buy a light bar for the stock bumper but after going and looking now i am thinking replacement winch bumper for the front. Would like to be able to reuse the factory foglites. The lod mid size bumper i have been looking at and the rugged ridge build a bumper setup. So if anyone has pics of their aftermarket front bumper please post.
Shrockworks makes three sizes of front bumper. This is the mid-width. It includes winch mounting plate and front skid in the price, so take that into consideration when comparing. Also, they charge you when you order, and it may take weeks, even months, to receive your new bumper. Best bumper on the market, well worth the wait, but definitely not for someone who doesn't have the patience of Job.

BTW, you're obviously not the first person to go through this on this forum. There are several excellent threads that discuss pros/cons and are full of bumper pictures. Some of these threads run into the tens of pages. Search is your friend (or use a Google site specific search for even better results).

Here is a Rock Hard 4x4 Parts stubby front bumper.

I had wanted a Shrockworks stubby bumper, but when I went to order one I was told it would be at least 8 to 10 weeks before they could ship one to me. I think the Rock Hard bumper looks "ok", and it shipped the same day. The Rock Hard bumper is also made from 1/4" plate instead of 3/16" plate, and it cost $200 less than the Shrockworks bumper did. Too bad it didn't fit all that well. We had to re-drill the mounting holes for the winch to center the winch behind the hole in the bumper that the cable comes through. Not a big deal I guess.

Don't have a straight-on photo, but here's the ARB Deluxe front bumper, which utilizes the factory fog lights. I like the bumper a lot and have always been a fan of ARB's quality. Personally, I like the stubby bumpers a little better and I had a homemade stubby on before the ARB, but I couldn't pass up getting the ARB and winch for free from my Dad when he decided to trade in his Rubicon.

Homemade stubby...didn't have a winch or the fog lights.
