Default New Bumper Build

This is my Switchblade bumper in the midst of being built. Notice the rear winch fairlead. The winch is tucked in there. The bumper has a plate that protects the winch. The tire carrier has a crank to lower the tire to the ground. It will be powder coated black when finished. I'll post some other pics when it is done.

It works like this:

That is awesome. Please post more pics. Where exactly is the winch? How much does the bumper weigh? Are you planning a front bumper to match?

Not really, you can buy the exact same bumper online. HD Customs makes em I think. Just have to be able to put it together. It's a cool idea, but the hand crank needs some work. I saw a video and unless you carry a drill with you, it takes forever to crank the tire down to the ground. Plus, its a bumper that costs almost $2000. Still, it does look bad ass.

No, it's $1399.

Considering the winch mount, lowering tire carrier (that swings w/ the tailgate). Or get the same bumper without the lowering arm for $1199

IMO, you'd be getting alot of features for the $.

Now the AEV is closer to 2k, but you can carry high quality H2O in it.
