New Bumper Installed
I installed my Olympic bumper today. It did not look like what was on the quadratec site, but it is fine for now. I mainly wanted the function of the receiver up front at a reasonable price. Wife and neighbor did not like, but I really don't care....
It came with the holes for fog lights, which my old bumper did not have, so I need to find some. If anyone has any for sale, please let me know.
Also, does anyone know if I can install tow hooks, or anything similar, on the front of the bumper with longer bolts?
Thanks,
Joe

Pretty plain design, but i dont think it looks bad.
Maybe they dont like it because as yet it looks unfinished?
Once you get some hooks/loops on it and get some lights installed it will look better, and their opinions may change, but if they dont, to bad for them *L* it's your Jeep. If you need the front receiver i think your pretty limited on options (price not withstanding) Olympic has some stuff that i swear their designers where smoking crack while sniffing coke and waiting for the LSD to kick in, but that one is ok.
I do not see why you couldnt put the factory tow hooks on the front?
(wouldn't be my first choice, as i think they look a bit hokey outside the bumper)
As long as you use the proper grade longer bolts to secure them.
PureJeep does it with there bumpers, i kind of like the Dring brackets on the front like they have.
(ok i'm weird, i like them and not the factory tow hooks )

Yeah, you can mount whatever you want with longer bolts, many companies do that.
Those foglight cutouts look bigger than the stockers, and the stock ones aren't anything to write home about, so you will probable be better served to get a set of aftermarket ones.
Nice bumper though, although to finish it, you need to put a Grade III spike on it, so you can impale cars.
