Default New bumper saturday.

Just finished getting the winch, rcx winch plate and old crappy
plastic bumper off the Jeep.

got to take and break and have a soda pop.

only a little bit of cursing took place.

here is a pic of my old, new and in progress pics.

I did buy the grill guard too.

The bumper is the new Bestop stubby.

How much heavier is it than the OEM you're removing?

I think the total weight of the new bumper is 60 pounds.

the plastic/metal bumper is maybe 15/20 pounds. ( I guess)

I got the winch, grill guard and the fog lights on.

I came inside for a break.

the wife's been helping when I need her to hold stuff/line stuff up while I
wrench it down tight.
glad I have her helping. it's keeping the cussing down since stuff is going on easy
with extra hands

next step is to hang the bumper and wire the winch back up to the battery.

got everything on the bumper shortly after my last post.

guess what.

it was too damn heavy for me to lift and get the bolts into the holes.

plus I don't feel safe having the wife hold this while I get it bolted up.

I got a couple of friends that will come by after they finish their golf game.

I figure sometime this summer after I bang the hell out of the OEM's, I'll go to a stubby as well. That's gonna look great.
