New to the Jeep world, My little bit of progress so far.
Hey guys and gals,
I purchased my jeep about 2 months ago and am loving it so far. I haven't done any major off-roading but plan to in the near future. When I bought the Jeep it was bone stock, The very next day I went to Discount tire and bought some Nitto Trail grapplers 285/65r18. I loved the tires for the most part, they were very aggressive looking, and were quiet on the road (for an m/t).
I ran it that way for about the first month then I bought a Rough Country 2.5 coil lift.
I had regrets after I bought the Nitto's because I wanted some 35's but rushed into buying tires instead of researching first. anyways I just ordered five 35" BFG mud-terrain km2's and five 15" pro comp series 52's and ended up paying the same as what I paid for 4 nitto 33's in 18". I also was able to sell my nitto tires and stock wheels and was only out $100. Hopefully I'm happy with 35s and dont want to switch 37's in a month haha
The bad thing is I wont have my tires and wheels until friday so here is how my Jeep is sitting now.
Next will be a re-gear with 5.13's.

I almost went this same route.. i won a lift 2 days after ordering teh 285's so I was able to cancel the order and go up to 295/70R18. I love the Nittos and have been happy on and off road. the 295's are equiv to 34.6 x 11.5 vs. the 34.8 x 12.5 "35's". Not that that matters too much now. anyway, I have the 2.5" TF coil/shock lift. check out my thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...f-July-4/page2 skip to the second page and it will give you some small issues I ran in to with the plastic skid up front rubbing and some pics.. I haven't gone to full flex, but did a little this weekend. i'm waiting to decide what to do with the pinch seam weld. let me know what you run in to ...
