OK...Question then. I have a set of 325/70-17's on 17x9's that will go on my JK. I was going to wait until after I put the lift on tomorrow to put them on. Can I go ahead and take it to the shop and have them put the wheels and tires on today and lift it tomorrow? More simply put, would I be ok running these wheels and tires for part of today until I can put my lift on tomorrow?

Using a tire size calculator it says these should be 34.9" tall.

Definitely YES. I have same tire size and wheel size, but drive alone with no heavy loads on roads only, otherwise the rear fender body-tub will rub on the 35s. Not a big deal if only for a day or two.

but it begs the question, why take it to the shop to be done ? dig dig....

Thanks for the info!

On taking it to the shop...they are taking my factory TPM sensors out and putting them in the new wheels and tires and then mounting and blancing them. Sorry, I do not have a tire breakdown machine or balancing machine. I am, however, installing the lift myself!

Putting the 35's on now saves me having to drive the Jeep all weekend with a lift and factory teeny tiny tires on it until Monday.
