how excatly did you get the dash apart to get in there? Is a write up on the way by any chance? I'd like to do this but dont wanna screw anything up!!

nope didnt mask a thing...if you start downat the bottom panel below the steering wheel you just pop them out and work your way up...i believe in the process there's just a total of 4 bolts that you will have to take out...then the clear plastic piece just pops off and then pop the guage surround out.......really really easy......and i didnt prime it.....i just used a can of duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint that you can buy at any auto parts store.....i did about 4 coats to make it look even and waited about 30 to 45 min. in between each coat......i've had the same paint on my vent surrounds now for about 4 mnths and they still look good as new....so no worries of chipping or fading at all.........i just cleaned the plastic really really well before i sprayed.............hope that helps and sorry it took so long to reply

oK i CAN'T GET THE DASH PIECE OFF!
I took out the 2 screws and the little rectangle piece at the bottom below the steering wheel but I can't find any other screws,
Help me

agreed, I would like some details as well before i attempt taking the jeep apart!
