Thanks. They are similar in color, I prefer it to just black. Can't afford new rims and rubber just now so this will have to tied me over. But I like how it turned out.

Dude your rims look great! What was the paint code for the cans you bought? It looks almost the same as the wheels that come with the mountain/ Islander edition.

mine are powdercoated and then added some can of flake in there. thanks pink toes!

Thanks. They do look like ME rims, that's kinda what I was going for. I am going to bedline my grille and then paint with the same paint so that they will match. But that will wait until after winter now.

I used the Dupli-Color high performance wheel paint, Graphite color (HWP102). Scuffed the rim first, primed, sanded that and then 3 coats of paint.

I finally did mine too. It's amazing what a couple cans of spray paint can do to the overall appearance.

Sand blasted the Moabs then powder coated black! now rockin on the LJ

Thanks for posting this pic! I have been wondering if anyone has painted their moabs with the duplicolor graphite grey. Have you ever compared this color to the mountian wheels? they look pretty close in pics.

once the warmish weather returns to new england i will either paint my wheels this color or bedline them.

Does anyone have any pics of the graphite grey on a black jk?
