In the box you get four bolts and washers: These are for the waterproof covers ONLY! Do not attempt to use the factory Torx bolts to secure the waterproof covers! You will have to strip/re-thread them in order to make them work...

I took my mirror with me to the local hardware store to buy the bolts and washers for the bottom of the mirror - I believe they were Galvanized 2.5" x 5/16" bolts

Use the Torx bolts from the frame to secure the Mirror Relocation Bracket on your JK.

I spray painted all the bolts and washers black after about a week of having them on. One the greatest purchases ever!!! Some people complain about how much of the passenger side mirror is cut off by the door when it's on, but it doesn't bother me one bit. You can also put a little mirror in the bottom corner to help you see better.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I can always post more pics.

I did not have to buy anything to install my brackets. As posted above, the bolts that come with the kit are to be used to attach the filler plate to the door. However, if you use the longer of the two torx bolts that you removed to take off the factory door mount for the mirrors, it fits perfectly into the bottom of the relocation bracket and into the bottom of the mirror when it is set into the bracket. I don't have pics now, but I can take some tomorrow if you want. There are other write ups on the forum that may have pics.

To be honest, I didn't notice that one Torx was longer than the other. I will check this out, as I'd much rather use a Torx to hold the mirror on! Thanks for the correction, that's good info...

i think i have the same ones.. and i couldn't get the mirror out of the stock bracket for the life of me. eventually after about 25 minutes i forced it out.. then to make matters worse.. paint or something had gotten into the threading on the cover for the holes.. we used a tap and everything fit perfectly.. apparently they need to find a new way to do things.
