Yeah I can see that happening. It must be tricky to mount them back on without twisting the bolts... which would peel the plastic. But if it works.... then hey... it works

I definitely want to do this, but I don't wanna deal with a lot of reapplication. I've been really hesitant and I really want to see these in person! Someone come to Charleston!

I used windex. I peeled it off and did them again and now they are sticking.

You guys ever tried to power wash this stuff?

If they look good black you should go ahead and just paint them. I think this product is really good for those that are not sure it's going to look good and want to test the color out. If your having problems with bubbles with this product go ahead and paint it.

With that said if you want to use plasti dip still then I'd try to strip everything back again and clean the wheel really good with alcohol and dip them in a controlled temperature around 70 degrees and low humidity.
